The Great Candidate Weekend of '07

To address Trish's question.

The weekend with our candidate went very well. I do believe a call will be issued in a few weeks. (Thanks be!)

I still don't quite have time to breathe until assembly :) I do believe that will be my time of decompression....(and by decompression I naturally mean drinking beers with super cool pastor types).

Funny tidbit for the day was when our council president referred to me in a group setting ..."yeah, and I agree with what Pastor said......um..I mean RuthRE"

What? Sunshine and warm weather?! Sweet.

What? You had absolutely no obligation for the rest of the day after 2 pm? What are you going to do with....gasp.....free time RuthRE? Clean I guess :)

Hey....tell me about MySpace folks.....I'm honestly a little confused about what it...well...*is*....maybe I have too short of an attention span...but to me it just seems like a place to put up a profile and have long lost friends leave comments. Meh?

I'm curious about this as I am trying to understand our older youthssss.....It's amazing how much can happen in ten or so years isn't it?

Looking forward to *trumpet fanfare* the visit of our candidate and spouse this week! Yay! Let's hear it for two days taken off of work to make a LONG weekend! WOOOO! What?

And a couple more weeks til SYNOD ASSEMBLY BABY! Wow, what a geek. I'm totally looking forward to it though.
