All of these papal masses at ball parks makes me think of the 'Hail Mary' that I'd heard as a kid:

"Hail Mary mother of grace, the pope is now on second base..."

Friday Five: Movin' On Edition

This week's Friday Five is about making a move -- literally.

Seems appropriate for me right now.

1.How many times have you moved? When was the last time?
Oh I guess about 5 times. The first in first grade, the next while I was in college (and I'll lump college into one) Last time was from my parents house (a longish stop back) to the condo here.

2. What do you love and hate about moving?
Packing, realizing how much crap I have....
I get kinda angry that I've acquired so much and don't do a better job of curbing the collection.

3. Do you do it yourself or hire movers?
Self, with help. I never had quite that much. My last move did require the most help yet.

4. Advice for surviving and thriving during a move?
Breathe. Try not to take little setbacks or annoyances too seriously.
Throw out as much as possible BEFORE you move.

5. Are you in the middle of any inner moves, if not outer ones?
Yep! I'm trying to clear out the home right now so I can sell it in short order and MOVE to the Sem City for two years, then MOVE to Vicar City for a year then MOVE back to Sem City, then MOVE to first Call City.

La Dee Da

I was thinking, there's very little reason to read my blog if you are not in my immediate blog community. Really, that little community is the reason I do it.

I hope that, perhaps, once I'm in seminary....being in the habit of writing and reading full time I might come up with more profound and interesting things to share.

But for now, I will just give you this.

I had the original edition of Lamb...and lent it out (and will continue to) but today I found this!!!!
How cool! I had a crazy good coupon so I decided that this was essential to my professional library ;)
